Suzy Somers, native New Yorker, moved to San Francisco with her family in 1979. As the wife of the CEO of I. Magnin department stores, she had the opportunity to entertain designers, CEO's from around the world and SF society in her home. In 1982, after planning many events for her YPO friends, she was encouraged by several CEO's to start her own event planning company. Her creativity, attention to detail and love of people has allowed her to work successfully for both private and corporate clients ever since. She believes that the most important thing she can offer her clients is to listen to what they really want. Then she is committed to offering each client fun during the planning stage, freedom to relax the day of the event and the time to focus and enjoy their guests during the party. She is proud to have been in the business long enough to have planned both Bar/Bat Mitzvahs or Confirmations, weddings and baby showers for the same individuals.
